What a shame.
Oldest former president in history.
Maybe it’s payback for giving away the Panama Canal to the Chinese.
Only the good die young.
Lots will be said about his presidency, but I do think his humanitarian work post presidency is notable. I especially like how he did not live an almost imperial life style then too.
He’s the only one who didnt get an envelope at H’s funeral. He may have been incompetent but it would seem he wasnt part of the evil cabal like all the rest.
Quit reading my mind. He was the Democrat that made me a Republican when I was a young boy in the 80s.
This is sad news, as it would be for anyone.
Mr. Carter was an absolutely horrendous president. But he has been a very good EX-president. I’m sorry to hear of this development and wish him comfort and peace as he goes through his final journey.
I am sorry to hear this. Carter is a misguided liberal, and he did the country harm. But he is a classical liberal, and a patriot - nothing like modern “progressive Democrats” AOC, Bernie Sanders, etc.
I always thought Carter could do the country one last service by speaking out against our woke fascist culture. I suppose it’s too late now.
I suspect there are no shortage of Carter years survivors about to make travel plans to consummate oaths taken long ago,
He was pretty bad at being president, but Obama became worse and Biden has eclipsed both of them, and Clinton got close to being the worst.
But, Carter was/is a decent person; can’t say the same for Bill Clinton or Obama or Biden
Any clue what was in those envelopes? Maybe last words from Bush, Sr.?
Sad to hear but.. he’s 98.
I’m sure the DNC will waste no time to use this as a deflection of their policies.
Would gladly trade Biden’s life for his.
Carter was a better president than this one.
I agree. His politics aside, he’s lived a full life, and I am envious of him for that.
98, he’s done well. I can’t hate him, I think he is a basically good man but misguided politically. He doesn’t look so radical compared to todays commie nutcases. At least he whacked a rabbit, today’s dems would fall out of the boat screaming.
My first vote in 1976! 🙄
