Are you F’n kidding me!!!! I’m 75 years old and I still work because my social security is not enough to live on and now my tax dollars are going to another country to pay some person younger than me to sit on their ass in their retirement. This has to be some sort of treason!
At some point all of these cumulative insults will reach the point at which they will no longer be tolerated by the majority of us. This is what sparked the American Revolution. It was cumulative.

Millions of Americans who worked private sector jobs are in the same boat.

This money could have been used for an overall raise for current social security recipients.
Sure it wouldn’t have been much but every dollar counts on a fixed income.
