While these train companies make record profits

True, but the issue here wasn’t the derailment, derailments have always happened and always will. It was the decision to burn the spill instead of clean it up.

Didn't have a goddamn thing to do with Trump's deregulation of ECP or any other Obama-imposed rules imposed over 8 too-long years in order to cripple our American infrastructure.

Security camera footage obtained by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette shows flames and sparks beneath one of the cars approximately 20 miles before it derailed, raising questions about when the crew would have known about a problem and why the train wasn’t stopped sooner."

Yes — for trains hauling a specified amount of hazardous material. This train did not fall into the range; it was below the minimum.

So you’re right. But it doesn’t pertain to THIS train and THIS accident.
