This attitude is a damning indictment of not Ukraine, but the UK's current manufacturing capacity.
Even more so of Ukraine for not prepping for a situation like this and for fighting a deadly proxy war for other countries using their own people as cannon fodder for globalist interests.
It seems England like the rest of NATO were not prepared for a long fight, and in some countries no extra capacity to supply a fight. I will assume they are sitting on war stocks they would need for themselves.
It’s not just the UK. The ammunition shortage has been widely reported:
