I remember a photo of a burned-out tank with a pristine package of Viagra lying next to it as “proof”. I laughed and laughed at that photo at the time, but apparently the idiots in the media who published it never played “what’s wrong with this picture?” in kindergarten. They were all shocked and breathless over it.
And then there was the story of the Iraqis ripping babies from incubators in Kuwait. That one was widely believed.
