MOSCOW, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Spending on new cars in Russia more than halved last year as the auto industry felt the full force of Western sanctions over the conflict in Ukraine, with production plunging, prices soaring and buyers switching to cheaper used models. While analysts continue to debate the overall effectiveness of economic curbs on Russia, there can be no doubt they have hit hard in its car industry, which was heavily reliant on foreign manufacturers and imported parts.

New Cars Are Unaffordable for Most Americans
Twenty years ago, being able to afford a car and a mortgage didn't seem so remarkable. Many Baby Boomers still brag about putting themselves through college and buying their own car with just a part-time job. However, a median-income household today can only afford an average-priced new car in one of the 25 largest U.S. metropolitan areas according to a Bankrate.com report.

“Americans are having to overextend themselves to pay for a new car at today's prices,” said Bankrate.com Analyst Claes Bell in a statement.

In America the communist "Democratic" Party has forced millions into homelessness. Here is a tent city in Washington DC. The Ukraine War is a distraction from the evil acts being done at home.

There was no Lada is 1965, but a 2000 one would be $2k, used to be $400 three years ago.

Americans are also being forced into used cars — and inferior electric “cars” — but our pain is self-inflicted.

The situation resembles silence of the lambs to me.
Everybody informed understand who did it and shocked over it, but they aren’t trained to tell a thing.
Media is still making up idiotic stories of how the Russians did it themselves, and the regular European is not supposed the express conflicting opinion, just in case.

Wow they don’t wanna deal with possible consequences which would be article 5, Not that I think that NATO would declare war on the United States if it was found that the us did attack the pipeline that was co owned by Germany, They might very well dissolve NATO or kicked the United States out of it

If Biden is going to take a dump in the street across Reichstag, the German media will spin it as an act of great respect.

"Americans are also being forced into used cars — and inferior electric “cars” — but our pain is self-inflicted."

Yep. At least many of our fellow Americans can get some of the better new cars, so some of the used cars here will be better. Get your cars in good shape, and drive safely.
