Russia would like to kick the crap out of Poland but politically it is a bridge too far as well, for now.
If Poland decides to insert itself this way, Article 5 wouldn’t apply.
They would simply level Poland, including the air bases involved in supplying Ukraine and decimate US&British deployments in the country.
Then CNN can scream “Russian aggression” and make stuff up, but the international law will be on Russian side.
That I understand.
But it would be an escalation of monstrous proportions.
It brings the conflict outside of the Ukraine boarders.
