There’s a growing pile of cordwood that is in need of stacking.

I’d like to see someone start a fundraiser to get those white kids into private schools. The school is 50% white, 30% black the rest mixed or other. 84% are low income. Start with the victims, then as money is raised, get the other white kids out. There are about 200 white kids in that school.

Interesting points. A few observations from Northern New Jersey, one of the most racially diverse (albeit with a lot of historical self-segregation) and immigrant heavy regions of the US, as well as suburban Long Island, where I grew up but no longer live.

1) When East Asian immigrants and/or their American born children move to suburbs, they tend to move to what were (until the 1990s/00s) heavily secular Jewish towns due to the competitive schools. Places like Millburn, Livingston, Syosset, and Great Neck are well on their way to becoming plurality or majority Asian in their student bodies.

2) New Jersey has the largest East Indian population per capita in the United States. Due to their insularity and religious differences, they tend to cluster in a series of towns in the central part of the state, creating “ethnoburbs,” some of which are more well off than most “white” communities. They also rarely intermarry in the second generation.

3) Hispanics in the area come from many different groups, but the two largest are Puerto Ricans and Dominicans, most of whom have west African ancestry to some degree. We have an increasing population of people from Central America as well. Generally speaking, while there is a Hispanic underclass, it is mostly concentrated among immigrants and their American-born children, rather than multi-generational. When American-born Hispanics move to suburbia, they generally settle among whites and even intermarry with them.

4) Other than the super-rich, blacks tend to choose to live with other blacks and only move to suburbs with large established black populations, so they are effectively the most segregated even when they get to the middle and upper middle income strata. Very few black/white marriages in my part of the world relative to say DC or even Atlanta despite northern NJ being very blue.

Another aspect of these different ethnic groups is music choices. East Asians and the Subcontinental Indians raise their kids to play and appreciate classical music— symphony, opera, etc. Very similar to the Jewish communities that came before them. They are aiming for the upper classes. Here in Iowa, they are concentrated in the college towns and in the upper middle class areas where the “good” schools are.

Hispanics tend to enjoy polka and hispanic rock music. They are aiming to join the working classes. Hispanics cluster in the factory towns and work amongst the blue collar workers (whites, American Indians, etc), although they also scattered in every town of at least 1000 people— every town has roofing work available.

Just like your area of the East Coast, blacks self segregate to their own areas. There are large concetrations in Davenport, Waterloo, Drake neighborhood of Des Moines, etc.

Most every town of at least 5000 people has a Chinese or Mexican Restaurant or both. Here in Iowa, Mexicans and poorer Asians (Vietnamese, Filipinos, blue collar Chinese) move to where the money and opportunity is. Blacks move to where there are other blacks.

There is a lot of intermarriage (Whites, Hispanics, Asians) both couples who met stateside and servicemen who met their foreign brides overseas. Also, there are the Chinese girls that were adopted by Christian parents ~20 years ago and are now adult Americans.

The only black kids you tend to see in the small towns are the offspring of country girls that went off to the city for work or school, got knocked up in the hood, and returned home with their kid(s) to live on welfare. You never see a man around. If there is crime in the town, they are usually the source. In comparison, the mix raced White/Asian/Hispanic kids know who their father is, even if he only visits certain times a month.
