I suspect her harsh sentence came from more than mere lying …or being mistaken in her investigation
As a true journalist she would have had access to numerous witnesses
Her motivation for publishing this account….to discredit her government and incite public anger…would have been a serious factor
So you're A-OK with reporters getting sent to gulags for "discrediting their governments" and "inciting public anger"?
