Almost two-thirds (65%) of Americans would rather see the US keep boosting Ukraine against its larger adversary,...Democrats were far more supportive of efforts to aid Ukraine than Republicans or Independents, with 81% of members of the liberal party saying they wanted the US to offer prolonged support to Kyiv, compared to 53% of GOP voters and 59% of Independent voters, the poll found...The US has sent some $27 billion in military aid to Ukraine...

Only informed with regard to matters in your rather small village.
“a bit thick to call it greed”.... You are a bit thick to call stealing enough to buy a Florida mansion and send his wife on Paris 40kEuro shopping days anything BUT greed! Guess the IQ numbers don’t account for common sense in your household... ymmv
My village is the world, being as I am, in retirement, an international man of mystery!
The Paris shopping spree item is interesting. It does not seem to have a source. Some claim it was from a French publication, but as I understand it no such source can be found. Note: if it was a thing in France it would have been repeated and expanded on in the French press, most likely, being a scandal.
At this point it seems like a game of telephone on the internet.
If you have a French source, link it. I can read French quite well.
And by the way, my IQ is higher than yours and so are all my children's.
We win, I guess!
How many can even locate Ukraine on a map?
The initial proposition in this chain of argument, you will find, if you were to use your superior IQ to drive your curiosity, was by farming pharmer, who claimed that pro-Ukraine partisans were two-digit-IQ slobs. So I demurred, using myself as a contrary data point.
So now you have, highly intelligently, flipped the proposition somehow, in a way that I am, most certainly, intellectually unsuited to follow.
As for the exchange with the redoubtable Jon Preston, you will note that he told me, a foreigner, to stop commenting on US foreign affairs.
This seems a bit, er, incurious of him. One can even say parochial. So one makes assumptions, as one does. You have to admit it’s a fair cop on my part.
Vladimir Putin has done nothing to me.
“The only people supporting Ukraine are the double digit IQ crowd and grifters.”
While I do detest the vile, selfish people who support this travesty it’s important to remember these individuals are merely a symptom of a very sick, terminally ill society.
They are zombies no longer capable of thinking for themselves.
Idiots,Ukraine is cover for all of the Biden’s corruption, bunch of suckers in this country
Same with everyone else here.
Mr. Putin seems a very nice fellow, put that way.
He did bribe kids of your country’s elite, such as Biden boy, and he and his friends gave lots of money to Mrs Clinton through her foundation, and he and his friends did ask lots of Democrats for help money laundering, but those are just minor items.
As for the very oppressive Americans you mention, I suggest you get right on the job of overthrowing them. You don’t need to bring Ukraine into it.
But you forget that the bulk of the known Biden corruption was in dealings with the Chinese and the Russians, and others too. Ukraine was just a part of it. It was the focus of the particular Democrat-created political controversy, but it was hardly the sum of Biden corruption, nor of that of the US political system.
For a lot of people, it seems, “Ukraine” is not a place or people but an incantation. It’s weird.
Your not counting the costs for the entire planet suffering over this disgusting country of Ukraine......and I would never agree to funding Ukraine for anything under any circumstances. And Zelesnky’s only duty is to be the salesman worldwide to keep his pockets and th other corrupt officials thir full......I’m sure his and his friends offshore companies in the British Virgin Islands, Cyprus, and Belize are filling up nicely.
Social media is cursed with gas-filled, European twits who imagine themselves to be the second coming of Nietzsche or Kant.
We must be strong and knock them on their fat, egomaniacal asses when the opportunity presents itself.
As American philosopher Gen. George Patton said: They are a scurvy race and simply savages. We could beat hell out of them.
:)
Really? Sure wish it was evidenced in the posts.
