I personally hate oatmeal, but I suspect oatmeal is still relatively affordable?
But if I couldn’t buy Eggs, Bacon or the other things I like for breakfast I think I’d eat oatmeal rather than skip the meal completely.
Stupid advice from the WSJ.... And now that I think of it, I’m kind of surprised that they didn’t recommend eating bugs like their WEF masters demand. Slaves work better with a little something in their bellies.
I’m very small, and only eat twice a day. Two pasture-raised eggs every other day and cereal the other days. No oatmeal because, well, gag me with a spoon.
I buy those wonderful eggs at Natural Grocers. They have nothing but pasture-raised eggs, some brands more pricey than others. But all cheaper than other stores. Eggs are, I believe, called a “loss leader” in marketing terms. They get us into the store, then we buy a bunch of other, pricier stuff. Absolutely works for me.
Oat meal with unsalted black beans, then S&P to taste add shake cheese. That’s good eatin’ right there.
