Maryland Delegate Pam Queen (D) is pushing legislation that would require an “embedded tracker” to be added to firearms before they can be transferred in a sale.
Queen’s bill, HB 704, says:
FOR the purpose of prohibiting a person from engaging in a certain bulk firearm transfer unless each firearm that is part of the transfer contains a certain tracker; requiring a seller or other transferor who engages in a bulk firearm transfer to transmit to the Secretary of State Police certain information; providing that a violation of this Act is a civil offense; requiring the Secretary to establish a certain database; and generally relating to tracking technology for firearms.

Of course not. The purpose of the bill is to take guns from non-violent citizens while allowing violent criminals to keep theirs so they can prey on the non-violent citizens.
So right. A new firearms registry.
And trackers on each bullet.

Embed a “tracker” in every captured illegal alien at the border and tell them it will be removed when they show up for their court date.

The ATF has been out of control since December 2020 when they started going after Polymer 80. Since 2021 there have been instances of ATF agents photographing 4473’s in gun shops, and they’ve been going with zero tolerance policies in regards with FFLs in order to shut them down. When an FFL shuts down, they have to surrender form 4473’s to the ATF, who have been alleged to have been putting all this information into a searchable database for some time now.

Probably would include a ‘kill switch’ to render the firearm inoperable from a distance as well.
