The song and the author are not the problem.

The problem is the NFL elevating this song to the level of the national anthem and the preferential treatment of a group of people.

The only time more than one national anthem is played is when two countries are competing in the same game.

So are blacks now a separate country?

I’m all in favor of making that a reality. It would be best for both sides.

Me too. As some other freeper so accurately noted we don’t have a race problem we have a problem race. Kowtowing to a group does nothing for unified nation so let the problem return to their homeland where they can play their anthems till their content but my sense is it would not be well received.

They are having three songs performed. The culmination and headline act is the National Anthem. We sing God Bless America at baseball games all the time. There is no one song limit.
