China will send balloons over the US as long as Biden is in the WH. He can always sell China the right of way and collect the toll.

Chinese balloons entering US from the North and potential Chinese spies and terrorists entering from the south. Imagine yourself in the Alamo. Stolen elections have consequences we never expected.

>>are we doomed?<<

Yes. We doomed ourselves in 2020 by installing the wrong POTUS.

Puncturing a high altitude balloon doesn’t bring it down.

“Are we not able to get our satellites up in orbit to locate these unidentified balloons and see every millimeter of it? Why or why not? Seems like we should be able to”

Yes, the surveillance satellites do identify moving objects, big and small, using AI to process the reams of data. Unimportant or natural objects (like waves or flocks of geese) are filtered out, and a select few are identified as objects of interest. And fewer yet are identified as “threats”. But this is NRO top secret information and would not ordinarily be passed down to the military without a high-level order to do so.

Not sure. They know it passed over the Aleutian Islands in hindsight.

Hmm? I didn't know that the NORAD systems had a hindsight option??? It would be handy if the person had to go to the bathroom and wanted to see what he missed when he got back to his station!
