It IS about the country, and what I'm trying to get you to understand is that Trump's bombastic nature is what we need now. The superficial civility, reach-across-the-aisle nonsense that the old GOPers embrace and gets pushed even on FR is exactly why we are where we are in this country. The Left gets away with calling conservatives Nazis and calling for our death and destruction because all of the milquetoast Republicans are more concerned with appearing civil than fighting back.

But you don't have to agree with my take. You don't even have to believe me. But what you SHOULD believe is Trump's success , and you and others seem to have trouble grasping this: Trump has achieved complete success as a politician doing exactly the thing you say he shouldn't be doing. People on here have been crying and clutching their pearls regarding Trump's "thin skin" since before the 2016 election, yet he won that election handily and INCREASED his voter share by a wide margin in 2020 by being Trump.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I don't know why you can't understand that, but I don't want Trump listening to people like you (he's not going to) because you are advocating for the same losing strategy that the limp-wristed GOP has been following since, well, forever. Address the reality of Trump's success in any reply or I'm going to assume you're just yet another troll.

You're a waste of time. You don't get that the presidency is a moving target. What worked for Trump in 2016 didn't work for him in 2020 because he didn't plan to have the election stolen.

Our country is at war. War means you have to change when change is required.
