Totally agree. Uncle Sam hasn’t seen a conflict in the last 70 years that it doesn’t have to get involved in. War is the American past time. I dgaf about Ukraine.

Russia has deported 200,000 ethnic Russian children and 400,000 ethnic Russian adults from Ukraine to Russia and in particular Siberia.

The Tatars are being forced to leave as well. By Russia.

As to the Roma no one over there likes them, especially the Russians. We support H2H which ministers to the Roma and if you care about these people then please consider volunteering or donating.

Russia is using missiles so what’s wrong with Ukraine responding in kind? How is that upping the ante when Russia already ante’d up?

If the Ukes use long em range missiles to strike Crimea, all bets are off in my view / or long range missiles to strike cities inside Russia.

You do realize that Crimea was part of Russia before California was part of the USA, right?

Yeah, but, Russia took Crimea from Turkey. Which part of history is correct and which should stay that way?

Yes, but they agreed in 1990 to let it go. But Russians never made a deal they wouldn’t break.

Next they will be laying claim to the Northwest.

Those of us who argue Ukraine is losing are not “Russophiles.”

We don’t WANT Russia to win but they are winning and will ultimately destroy the entire Ukrainian military.

Ukraine is none of America’s business. It has no strategic value to the USA. Russia is not attacking the USA nor is it attacking any of the nations who are members of NATO.

We have enough problems in our own country. The billions America is spending on Ukraine are monies belonging to Americans and should be spent on our own needs.

We don’t need a World War III over Ukraine and we don’t need to send more young men from other countries to die in Ukraine.

Those posting here who strongly believe in defending Ukraine by force should travel there, volunteer to fight and pick up a rifle. Go ahead and die for Ukraine. Nobody is stopping you. Shed your own blood. If you don’t believe in Ukraine enough to give your own life fighting for it, stop warmongering to the rest of us.

Leave America’s young people out of a fight which is somebody else’s fight.

According to the principles of the UN the land belongs to the people inhibiting the land. The US once enforced the principle by force in Kosovo.
If Mexicans want California then they have right to it as well.

Roughly, although I think the treaty which separated the Crimea from the Ottoman Empire was signed in 1774? Treaty of Kujank Kianardja?

Kicking Russian influence and corruption out of Europe is absolutely in American interest both economically and morally.

This time is a time for choosing. Do conservatives believe all people have a right not to live under the boot of Kremlin or not? Reagan said yes. You say no.

The “just don’t get any on me” situational ethics you advocate will the end of our movement because a conservatism that has no moral core and stands for nothing will be nothing.

Who is suggesting we send American troops there?

You keep saying that. You are like Biden talking about Social Security.

You jest, or more likely are another paid poster. Who cares about these people. Their problems and none of our own. Our country is being literally invaded and you pour out this fake sentimentality about some fight in eastern Europe. Go there yourself, if you are real and not a bot. You spend your money there and put your soft ass on the line. Begone troll.

I point out simple truths. Are conservatives so weak now we can’t multi task? The Chomskyite nutbags and fringe secret servers in Germany crazies are chasing off the very people we need to win elections. Apparently, conservatives are not tired of losing just yet.

Stupid conservatives care more about Ukraine’s borders than our own borders.

"Discussions are now taking place over whether this should include Harpoon anti-ship missiles or air-to-surface Storm Shadows."

There is no _or_. There is only _and_.

It has little to do with conservative or liberal. They come from the generation of hating russia. Many outgrew that and moved on. The hard core reminisce about the good old days of the cold war when democrats and republicans didn’t agree on much, but they agreed to hate russia.

Then Reagan, Thatcher, and JPII had to end it all.

Support for this Ukrainian crap is strongest among the geriatrics, both D and R. Those in the 18-60 age group (most likely to get drafted, recalled, or have their sons and daughters fed into that meat grinder), not so much.
