Why are they willing to sacrifice Crimeans living there? Do they want all of the former Ukraine to be a wasteland?
Fine by me.
The Russians don’t belong there either.
Scorched earth is nothing new in Crimea. Russia did it 80 years ago.
Of course, if Russia ends the war and leaves peacefully then no more Russians will need to die.
Well, Crimea IS occupied territory.
Yo sport. The Russians were in Crimea before we were in Ohio.
Why is this necessary when Ukraine is winning bigly?
“Of course, if Russia ends the war and leaves peacefully then no more Russians will need to die.”
That makes too much sense, and thus will infuriate the Russophiles here on FR.
“Yo sport. The Russians were in Crimea before we were in Ohio.”
And the Greeks were in Crimea before the Russians. So what?
“Why is this necessary when Ukraine is winning bigly?”
Ukraine wants its territories back; territories that were illegally seized by Russia.
GB better hope Ukraine wins and Russia disintegrates.
Except for the world wars they have some bad history. Crimea as 1 example.
If GB arms them with jets, long range missiles, tanks etc and a lot more Russians die but they still win. Russia may decide they have a score to settle later.
“We’ll meet again.....”
No question now.....the war is in an escalation phase. Biden is dragging his feet. He needs to ante up so Putin will be forced to come to the table.
Enough weeny wangling from Biden. If he continues to prevaricate, we will be forced to send troops over there.
Those Brits never learn.
I guess they like to re-live history.
Balaclava...Charge of the Light Brigade...Pyrrhic victory.
They should stay out of this one.
The borders in Europe have gone back and forth for a thousand years without any help from the USA.
It’s a European problem (not ours) that the Europeans can resolve on their own
to strike Russia, in other words.
98% of the people living there (the vast majority Russian) want to be in Russia and don’t matter to them. Their own population doesn’t matter to them.
History is not his forte.
