But F-16s have been in service the world over for decades, used by what it seems to be unlikely characters, like the Pakistanis. Who don’t have a US contractor presence BTW.
Ukrainians are the same racial stock as the Russians, who seem to deal with advanced aerospace maintenance well enough. A lot of the Soviet aerospace industry was in Ukraine pre-1991. Ukraine was a “high tech” part of the Soviet Union.
