There have been Ukrainians in the US training on F-16’s for a few months now. I recall seeing a few comments on here from other FReepers mentioning it last year.
The UK is now training Ukrainian pilots, France is likely doing the same, and Poland most definitely is doing this.
I suppose if Putin wants to attack NATO airfields he can do that.
But I doubt that any such attack will work out the way Pooty thinks it will.
After listening to Zelensky’s two press briefings with Sunak it looks and sounds like EU has taken the Nato lead via Britain in arming and leading this war against Russia.....Documents were signed.....training of F-16 piolets generally takes 5 yrs...even cut in half Sunak said theres logistics and maintenance issues......Probably would fly out of Poland and other countries. Also offering long distance land to air missiles. So the build up for World War continues.
Zelensky will also have another meeting with European leaders this week before returning to Ukraine.
