First let me say, I am NOT a Putin supporter.
However, your statement that “Europe is managing fine without it” it totally dishonest.

The price of Natural Gas in Germany and the rest of Europe is over 5X the price is was prior to the Ukraine war sanctions.
This with a much warmer than normal winter. If the Europeans had even a normal winter there would have been in dire straits.

The price of NG is up so much in Europe that it has affected the price on the east coast of the US. Especially in New England where a fair percentage of the gas is LNG. This has led to many of the electric utilities in the northeastern US doubling their rates/KWH.

Current German nat gas price is about where it was in Jan 2022, before sanctions. Prices jumped during 2021 for other reasons, notably loss of electricity production from nuke and coal. The Germans caused most of their own problems.
