Liberals are, at a minimum, miffed that China embarrassed Xiden. I believe that Canadian defense officials and military personnel understand their dependence on the U.S., especially after Putin invaded Ukraine. Canada’s northern ocean economic zones border Russia’s. Canada has no nuclear weapons. (Although Canada did materially assist the Manhattan Project.)
