I always ask my lefty acquaintances-—”Why are you encouraging a lifestyle with a 42% suicide rate”?
Which they always answer—”They commit suicide because of bigots like you”
I reply-—”Nope-—they commit suicide because you tell them they’ll be happy with their new lifestyle-—they aren’t, then kill themselves”.
Crickets-—this is pure evil and bottom line-—destroying society, families and robbing souls from Christ.
A few years ago I read a long article about a male college student that transitioned to a girl. He had the full support of his school, family, friends, government (healthcare) and even his pastor! (Baptized him again with his new girl name).
He ended up killing himself - tossing himself off his high-rise on campus. The note said that he would never be “the perfect girl”.
I mentioned this to my 20-something son. His reply:
“What girl is? Or guy for that matter?”
I would posit that 99% of the current trans fad is actually a cult, fueled by the internet and the alternate reality that it allows. (Insert cartoon of dog and computer “On the internet nobody knows that you are a dog”.) Trouble is, these folks still have to live in the real world, where they end up facing the actual reality of their poor decisions.
Exactly right. These "trans-gender" folk are sold a false promise. There is no way a biological man can become a biological woman and vice versa.
Almost without fail, those undergoing hormone treatments and surgeries to change their gender end up looking much worse than when they were in their original gender. In addition, they lose the ability to reproduce for the rest of their lives, which can be devastating. Especially when it is done to a young person who is not mature enough to realize the irreversible consequences of sterilization (through removal of genitals).
For instance, when I was a teenager, I had no desire to have children. In fact, I often stated that I did not want to have children at all. When I was in my mid-20s, I met a woman who would become my wife and suddenly the ability to give her children became very, very important.
If I had allowed myself (for any reason) to be sterilized when I was a teenager, my wife would never have considered marrying me in the first place ten years later. My life would have been permanently changed for the worse.
What I can't get over however is just how hideous and sexually undesireable these people turn out after a sex-change operation. They look like sad jokes trying to be the gender they feel they want to be. Like tattoos, a sex change has never improved the appearance of anybody.
Consider Bruce Jenner. He needs an army of beauticians and make-up artists to keep himself looking like a somewhaat presentable female. Most of the rest of the transgenders don't have those kind of resources. They end up looking like Robert Plant in a dress most of the time.
To that, I say, what's the point?
These people are being sold a fake dream.
