Turkey has a terrible history of earthquakes. This one wiped out an entire city. Gone.

This double-whammy is just awful news. With higher population and all, I just can’t imagine. It’s so very tragic.
Well it’s an old country with plenty of old buildings so it’s not surprising when this happens many of them fall. And likely most living in them are middle to lower class.
