I am fascinated by the people here on FR and elsewhere who claim that Russia is the victim here? That a corrupt country run by KGB who’s head “ religious “ figure is KGB, who invaded a sovereign country, who thought they could roll over Ukraine but failed because of their massive corruption and fantasies of abilities, who rape and loot like “good” liberators, who have reigned death and destruction on these people they call their brothers and fellow countrymen and all of this was caused by some fantasy that west was going to attack them and all would be fine if Ukraine had just given up. Sure paging the 1930s. If only we had let hitler have what he wanted no death and destruction well at least for most
I make no claim to know wha all is going on, but those here who claim that Russia has the moral high ground, Russia’s losses are exaggerated (that’s why they are mobilizing a million additional troops and pulling T-62s out of boneyard) and are justified in laying waste to civilian and civilian infrastructure I guess in the name of peace are as mad as putin.

Russia may yet”win” and I guess they will cheer that the destruction of Ukraine has saved the world. That a more corrupt nation has defeated a less corrupt nation is a moral and holy victory

Russia may not be a good guy, but Ukraine is certainly not one either.

Does anyone here think that ‘The Media’, who have been lying to us for years (decades, actually) has suddenly started reporting the truth?

And all the usual suspects (Biden, Soros, The Media, et al) are supporting Ukraine... Does anyone believe THEY are now doing the right thing?

Here is my PERSONAL opinion.

Trump was the new boss, in a company where the employees had been stealing for years. The thieves hid their activates in a box, biding their time.

Ukraine may be the box.

The predominately ethnic Russians of the Donbas waited for 8 years for Russia to arrive and liberate them from the murderous shelling of civilians by Kiev-ordered artillery.

Those people are not “conquered” or “invaded.” They are happily free of the mass killing by the Zelensky-controlled murderers. They voted for autonomy from Kiev years ago before this fighting and Kiev could never accept those in Donbas wanted NOTHING to do with tyrants in Kiev.

Present day Ukraine is not a unified people as so many falsely believe. The western part of Ukraine has a strongly Polish ethnic background. There are also strong elements of Hungarian and Romanian cultures.
