A rise of 17.86% is a nice uptick yes. People rate the economy by how THEY are doing. More people think things are improving lately. Overall, they are still a minority, but the minority is growing. I’m shocked at how well I’m doing, but I’m not part of the work force, I’m “retired” as they call it.
