“Some of the people who are supporting DeSantis are doing so because they don't want Trump......Other people, including myself, are supporting DeSantis because he would be a great President.”

That's an important distinction. Also we need a potential 2 term President to clean up the mess in this next election - I'm not so sure Trump would do more than one...his age is a factor for two terms.

I agree.

DeSantis is viewed as the most viable candidate, so anyone who doesn’t want Trump is supporting DeSantis solely for that reason.

That includes donors whom I dislike in regards to their ideology and objectives.

However, I understand that they are supporting DeSantis solely because he is viable and is not Trump, and that their support of DeSantis is not because he is on board with their ideology.

DeSantis also understands why he is getting the support of those donors and that he is not beholden to their ideology. They need him more than he needs them.

Therefor, people who try to paint DeSantis with the ideology of some of his high-profile supporters are wrong.

DeSantis’ actions show that he gets things done on an business level and is for America First economically, and that he is the action-oriented warrior against cancel culture amongst all current office holders.

He will be a great candidate for President in 2024, and if Biden is his opponent, he will win unless Democratic fraud is decisive.
