The relationship between the Left and the Globalists is an interesting one. They have a lot in common including a common enemy in traditional American conservatism. But they have big differences too which makes them an interesting team.

You may remember that Mao wasn't a true believer in Marxism. He saw it as a tool that he could use as a replacement for all the troublesome religions the Chinese people had...and as a means to tighten his totalitarian grip on China.

I suspect Xi and the CCP share Mao's view.
