You have no idea what I’m exercised by. I am totally disgusted by the
“cosmic mess” of spending that the Feds have become as much as anyone - but that’s not a reason to justify prolonging a war 7,000 miles away.
Well, there you go. Its not about wasting money, its that you have a preference for the other side in that war. The wasting money bit is rhetorical.
It helps to strip rhetoric (emotionalism, rationalization, irrelevant personal baggage, imprecise language itself) out, to get to the personal core of what is motivating you.
