China has a fleet of satellites with some of the most advance cameras available looking down at us constantly from space.
I can't imagine this balloon saw anything that these satellites haven't already seen.

Satellites are 100 miles up. Now take those same cameras and use them at 60,000 feet.
Of course it was just a weather balloon. All weather balloons have self-destruct mechanisms built into the components, so each component explodes and burns up as it separates from the balloon. We really should trust the CCP.
