The Federal Aviation Administration has closed airspace in parts of North Carolina and South Carolina. All operations at Charleston, Myrtle Beach and Wilmington airports have been paused for national security initiatives.
The alerts are in effect until 2:45 p.m.
The balloon was spotted Saturday over parts of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Northern Greenville county in South Carolina.

hmmm story keeps changing- what is this? gov sponsored Covid-like misinformation by the msm? last we knew, it was floating well out of the way of airspace travel and presented no danger to air travelers- and now they shut down the airspace?

Charlotte and Greenville on on the western part of the states and Charleston & Myrtle Beach are on the coast. Was the US trying to push it out to sea or is the CCP done with their data collecting and heading out?
U.S. Citizens and our own aircraft can’t go there but it’s OK for a Chinese spycraft!
