I think at 100k ft, there’s zero chance of taking/recovering it. I also think it’s an object that neither the FAA or Air Force can track...other than a visual.

It’s said to be at ~60k ft. Even at a 100k, the DoD has no problem tracking. And they have air-to-air and surface-to-air weapons that can take it down. My guess is they’ll pull the trigger once it’s over water.
