Very close, maybe in testing, but I have certainly not seen them deployed. The big project (747 based) was cancelled.

The demonstrations of naval ship-based lasers show a row boat catching fire a mile or two away. Not a lot of laser power yet. They need 500 kW to do what you’re thinking, I believe is the engineering estimate..
