Stop being a dick. Where did he say which country he served in? How about you tell us?
I simply assumed he served in Russia, which is perfectly fine, if he is commenting on the state of the Russian military.
You didn’t assume he served in Russia, and you made it sound like you were quoting him.

That’s fair - probably could have worded it better. But I respect his service, and he’s clearly way beyond my knowledge of the internals of the Russian military.
You pro-Russia people could just quit insulting veterans as you continue to do.
Pretending that freerepublic veterans served in the enemy’s military, is far more than bad phrasing.
Especially when you do it in three different posts.

Look around and tell me the same people that have been building and controlling Ukraine as base to destroy Russia and the world have not been working to destroy all freedom in the western world. Everyday these people take more freedoms from us. And yet somehow they all become the good guys here.
And it appears that WW3 is part of there plan as well. They get population reduction and it will be easy for them to come in a control whats left.
They aren’t normally recommended for those over 40, be sure and look up the details of how to use them and when.

The propaganda offensive on FR has been stark. Very little consciousness of just whom they are allying with. They have a Hollywood cartoon opinion about Russia that bears little resemblance to reality. I fear they will find out how little Russia resembles a cartoon.

The purpose of Putin’s nuclear blackmail is to exploit western greed and cowardice to buy time to build up monstrous military forces including nuclear weapons forces. He and his close associates will not stop with Ukraine. They won’t stop on their own before destroying the U.S.A.
Some people here and around the world only care about their money today. They don’t care about tomorrow. They don’t care about anyone else, and they don’t care about consequences.
Nothing was said by me about you not having “30 years of active duty in the Russian military”.
However, from reading your previous posts on the subject of the situation in Ukraine, I am not sure that you even have 30 years of service in the human race.
My point being that people throw around their experience (which is impossible to verify on a site like this, by the way) and then claim they’re some kind of expert in areas that they have NO ACCESS to.
But even if true, we have PLENTY of 30 year veterans on TV who have claimed for NEARLY A YEAR that Russia is ‘out of missiles’ and is ‘losing the war’. They are either IDIOTS, full of ARROGANCE (like the people who said that Russian economy would collapse), or flat-out LIARS. But one thing for sure, their life experience didn’t do jack regarding their analysis of this war.
So when someone claims to be an expert here based on their own personal experience, I always challenge it - just as one person claiming to be a doctor here (and probably was, since he used big words), who spouted the party line about vaccines, masks, and lockdowns - now being shown WRONG in all areas.
