Here in northern Michigan we see trucks often with Confederate flags flying.

We don’t take pictures and post them on twitter, along with ideas that Michiganders want to bring back the Confederacy.

There is at times a spirit associated with a time period, and it can be expressed with a flag.

The USSR kicked Nazi butt before, and now they are doing it again as Russia.

The USSR was a mass murdering, Europe enslaving, Gulag concentration camps, historical evil that only collapsed just recently and still has the nukes it has threatened the world with for 70 years, one of history’s greatest evils of all time and so recent that one of its officers is currently invading Ukraine with an Army still commanded by monsters from that evil empire, that isn’t merely a “ at times a spirit associated with a time period, and it can be expressed with a flag”
