My circle of friends and relatives, mostly Conservatives and Trump voters in both of the last two elections, don't want Trump to even run again. (I know, he already is.)
Yes, Trump accomplished many good things, I can name more than a dozen. He also made many political foes along the way that was just not necessary.
Both DeSantis and Pompeo are strong leaders, pro-American, and have the Reaganesque quality of tact, diplomacy, and statesmanship. Mister Trump could learn from both of them.
I also feel strongly that Veterans make better presidents (more rounded, more responsible). Both Pompeo and DeSantis served honorably.
It might be useful to keep in mind that the electorate has changed from '16 and '20. Many traditional conservatives in the bonus years have sadly passed, and many of the younger replacements are not familiar with Trump's successes, only his non-stop petulant comments. Trump hurts himself in this demo.
I will first say I remember the general who was President. My family loved him... but that was THEN.. we are in the NOW.I will give you what makes a good President of the United States. Not for me or you necessarily... but for the good of the country and what is good for the USA is good for all.
Trump has good points and he has some you would like to see him do away with. You doubters don’t like the way he talks... or the way he demeans sometimes.. you can list more I’m sure.
When he is abroad, the leaders admire him... they follow him around. They want to hear what he has to say. Not so with the one in there now!!!!!
the man Trump, cares for the people. Don’t matter what he sounds like... or what you don’t like... if you had researched the man before the media hated him... you would find him helping the little boy who needs a fast ride to the hospital 800 miles away.. Trump gets his plane out and takes the boy to the hospital. There are numerous instances where he has helped someone and you never heard about it.
And he loves the US and wants to see it regained the pride and the wherewithall to be the best and keep wars from springing up like the stupidity of the current one.
He has a high IQ People who are intelligent, don’t know what it’s like to not be... they think in a different vein. I have a son and a grandson with high IQ... they are wonderful and kind..and sometimes impatient when he gets it and the others look at him odd... they are way ahead of everyone else.
Trump can carry on an important conversation on 3 different subjects with 3 people and not get lost in any of it...
Trump gets things done on time and under budget. He worlds all day and most of the night. With government at a snails pace, I like the on time person.
He knows how to do a business deal. He can scare the enemy into compromise or surrender..
He has sons and daughters that are not in trouble and respect their father.
And one thing to ask or take a guess on those who want to run. Can they go from where they are, to the grinding mill and have their kids attacked along with the whole family? Can they withstand the FBI coming to the door, coming in, and going through the house with threats of imprisonment.
Grey hair is earned... all of the younger ones will disappoint you in a washington minute.
He may be all you antis say he is... I want a man who can keep us out of war... stabilize the economy... shut the blankety border!!! and turn life from the foreboding we have now... to sunshine again. I trust the man and admire the man. faults and all..
