None of this matters. What does matter is who is funding any candidate because that is who the candidate is actually beholden to.

I agree we should be watching who is donating to our Presidential candidates, and what they do with that money, or how those donors may benefit. Or even, if those donors were misled.

Have you been following the story, regarding that Trump took upwards of $200M dollars from donors, that he had advertised would be used for an "election security fund" but has since only used that money for other purposes? This money was almost all collected between the election in November 2020, and January 6, 2021, but Trump still has approximately half of it he's using for normal campaign operational expenses. Is that something you believe is worthy of further inquiry, and possible donor complaints, or that it doesn't really matter what Trump said the money was going to be used for?
