Not only that, but they continue to cause more and more to come here with the endless supply of money and benefits. I obviously know that is the point but man, this really pisses me off to no end.

Who cares? This is a California thing and has nothing to do with me in Washington state. If our state moron Inslee tries to do it up here, then it is grounds to put in someone else. The people of California put themselves into this position electing bleeeding heart liberals with an agenda. They need to pay the price until they get them out.

How about making government employees, including politicians, pay their fair share of the costs their laws incur.

She’s an economic traitor to the USA and should be removed from office.

I am in total agreement with you on that. People who are foreign born are likely to have too many feelings for their native country and do not think of the best interests of American people.

Victoria Spartz being one of them.

"Hurtado reintroduces Food for All Act to feed undocumented immigrants"

I am not familiar with Sen. Hurtado's bill. But why isn't Hurtado pushing for California referendum process to get approval for spending somebody else's money from California majority citizen voting taxpayers who may not approve of feeding undocumented Democrats that they didn't invite to their state?

No food and they will leave. No free stuff and they will go home where they came from.

This is the elephant in the room. How much do the taxpayers pay in support for each of these “undocumented migrants”?

No one on either Uniparty squad dares to raise this question.

Does each undocumented migrant (UM) cost only $1,000? Unbelievably low, but that is still $1 billion for each million UM.

A more reasonable low-ball cost estimate would be $100,000 per UM, considering government overhead costs. Or $100 billion for each million.

And how many millions of UMs have come in under this administration, and how many more will come in the next two years? Since most of them cannot legally work, who is paying for them? There is a reason the Blue Squad of the Uniparty wants no debt ceiling.

It only ends with effective bankruptcy of the state and Fed.gov.
I expect everything would get "reset", be it great or not, so that the rich & connected would suffer little while most working people get shafted by losing cash & savings, property, dealing with confiscations & perhaps forced relocations, some meager allocation of CBDC...and all manner of additional mandates.

Then fed.gov would start the runaway spending all over again. For the good of all, of course.

artichokegrower :" They ain't Californians.
They are citizens of wherever they came from."

If you're strong enough to swim across the river
you are strong enough to work for a living.
With the increasingly inflated price of food and groceries, second only to utilities,
this program will inevitably bankrupt the State coffers !

I think just the food stamps are more than they earn back in their home country!
Great magnet for trying to cross the border!

"Though Hurtado secured $40 million in last year’s budget for the bill, Newsom made budget cuts that pushed it into later years where more funding would be available."
Having free food for all illegals on Newsom's national political resume won't look good to many voters, as he runs for president. He may never sign such a provision.
