I guess that’s good. A melting North Pole won’t have a massive impact on sea levels. A melting South Pole would be huge. All that ice is sitting on land, not pressing down on a sea. Perhaps the frozen land under the ice keeps it cooler than floating on sea water.
What's not to like about higher crop yields, easier to predict precipitation rates, and less deaths by plague? We should all be glad we're not living in one of the cooling periods (especially the most recent one).
