They’ll probably trash the rooms on their way out.
When my wife and I were looking for an apartment several years ago I looked at one that my first wife and I had lived in for a short while way back when. A nice solid place with working class folks.
When wife #2 and I looked at it it was terrible. Mexican or another flavor of Latinos were living in every apartment. The apartment hadn’t been cleaned yet and it looked like it never had been cleaned. The dark gold carpet was black and sticky, the kitchen and dining area looked like they had never been wiped off or the floor swept. I left.
It was then I realized that they don’t tear things up on their way out. No, they just never take care of things to begin with and when they move out the clean up is overwhelming.
We are talking about people who probably never used toilet paper before and hoping they’ll live by our standards. Ain’t gonna happen.
