Reagan was far better...

And Presidents have limited effect on the economy. Unless the Congress cooperates on issues the President is limited to EO’s which as we have seen get rescinded. And frankly the Supreme Court is unbalanced in it’s current makeup. This country wants middle of the road solutions not extremist idea.

Reagan and Trump were of two different eras. The problems they faced were vastly different so coming up with a definitive answer as to who was better is dubious and not particularly important. Reagan was the man to deal with the greatest challenge of his era - the Soviet Union. And the vital role he played in winning the Cold War was a great thing. But he never really addressed the Deep State, whose grip on government was growing during his tenure and continued to grow for the next 35 years, until it reached the crisis levels of corruption that Trump inherited.

Reagan didn’t have the ability to tackle the deep State and didn’t really try. But the Deep State/Military Industrial Complex shared Reagan’s desire to defeat the Soviet threat so he was able to gain their cooperation in doing so.
