Actually he’s probably doing a wonderful job at convincing Republicans he’s not a globalist.
The globalist would gladly sacrifice all of Florida to the most conservative legislature in history in exchange to getting one of their own in as a republican president.

I suppose that’s entirely possible. We will see.
Globalists haven't taken over the United States and other governments by being stupid or hasty. Look at Pence for example. Supposedly conservative, religious. Yet you KNOW his allegiance is to globalist philosophy. To many conservatives he is the good guy. That's the globalist game...good cop/bad cop. Their motto is "we can have a vigorous debate but at the end of the day we're on the same side." Politicians like McConnel, Romney, Lindsey Graham, etc all use phrases similar to that routinely.
Trump is one of the only players that understands that politics is cut throat. That it's for all the marbles. HE knows the enemy and makes no bones about shouting it out.

Spot on. This appears to be their strategy.
When running for his 1st governor term, DeSantis crumpled like tissue paper at the Dem’s “racist” label. Trump dragged him over the line. He talks tough now that he has globalist backing.
