Detroit had a squad like this back in the ‘70’s. I don’t remember the exact details but they got a reputation for thuggery too and was disbanded.
I think the concept is good, but it’s clearly apparent that a squad like this needs to be staffed by the very best and every move needs oversight preventing things from getting out of control.
