Misguided Biden Administration equity policy is just another politically correct attack on state sovereignty to try to keep desperate Democrats and RIINOs in power imo.
Patriots are reminded that the Supreme Court had clarified in Minor v. Happersett that the 14th Amendment's equal protections clause does not mean that women automatically had suffrage like men do for example.
"14th Amendment, Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws [emphases added]."

The right of suffrage was not necessarily one of the privileges or immunities of citizenship before the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment, and that amendment does not add to these privileges and immunities. It simply furnished an additional guaranty for the protection of such as the citizen already had [emphasis added].” —Minor v. Happersett, 1874.
It remains that 10th Amendment-based laws can discriminate on the basis of any criterion that the states have not amended the Constitution to expressly protect.
The bottom line is this imo. ALL the states desperately need to put a "permanent" stop to unconstitutional federal taxes, and likewise unconstitutional interference in the affairs of the sovereign states, by effectively "seceding" from the unconstitutionally big federal government.
The states will "secede" from the corrupt feds by repealing the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments (16&17A).
If the proposed amendment was limited strictly to repealing 16&17A, relatively little or ideally no discussion would be needed before ratification of the amendment imo.
If every wage-earner was required to pay their payroll tax without automatic withholding then the Federal Income Tax system would collapse.
If we could get some governors to refuse to comply with Federal withholding either at the employer or state level then the house of crooked cards will fall.
Ain't gonna happen but neither is the repealing of the 16 and 17 Amendments.
