Read that last sentence carefully.
Almost all of the Doomsayers (and alarmists, which includes the original poster) reflexively blame the US for the alleged impending doom. So, since I was addressing the original poster (the “you”), and he is included as one of the Doomsayers, those Doomsayers (alarmists) are collectively “you people.”
If you all are trying to attach some nefarious meaning to my comment you are barking up the wrong tree.

Entire towns, cities and villages are being wiped out by Russian artillery and waves of missiles in Ukraine - right in the middle of Europe.
NATO would come to Americas help if Mexico attacked the USA that way.
The United States, Russia and UK signed a protection assurance of its bothered in the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. Russia violated the deal, But America honored the deal it had signed. Its just a question about being civilized.
Russias commie-islamic coalition (Russia, Chechnya, IRAN, North Korea, Belarus and the entire CSTO (Russias NATO equivalent) is invading a sovereign European nation - ally to the USA.
When it comes to the migrant invasion of America that’s a whole different story.
Europe is being totally invaded by illegal immigration too - so don’t think America has a monopoly in being a victim of mass migration!

If we go in, we might have an easy week. But I worry about what happens next. Things to think about.
1. RuZZia could well blow out the internet in the USA.
2. They could hack into things and turn off the electric power. No power—no computers.
3. One high allude nuke could use a EMP pulse to burn out all US Computers—in your car, electronics and microwaves.
4. RuZZIan Orks can take down out satellites—No Cable TV or Phones, no weather, eyes in the sky etc...
5. Media reduced to radio and newspapers. No internet.
6. Then comes the starvation time and the big die off—Diabetics without insulin will go first.
7. As you bury your loved ones you can be pleased to know that Ukraine can keep the Donbass province,

Look, Gator. There are some on FR that want me banned from the site. I have already been personally threatened on FR; a couple being rather serious (so much so I had to delete my Home Page in its entirety, because it had information that could possibly be used to locate me, and thus my family). Are these threats just hot air? Probably. But if the safety of my family becomes an issue, then it’s a whole different ballgame.
There are some unhinged people on FR; some who will brook no opposition or challenge to their positions or agenda. So, I am not being a dick: I am merely preserving the record.
And I will continue to post and comment as I always have. If I get banned, I get banned.

If Russia bombs Ramstein air base, or the staging ground for these new weapons, do you think we will act? Will we respond with an attack by American fighters?

Ignore the Putin/Russian Invasion supporters.
They will support invasion but lack the ability to address posted topics relative to invasion. Their preference is just to demean & trash other Freepers that causes a distraction rather than sharing an insightful discussion.

What attack was that? I know there was a strike on an ammo dump or airbase just across the border from Ukraine. Is that what you are referring to?

It depends on the nature of the attack on Ramstein, etc., and the damage it caused.
I have some for that purpose also.
Which people? The ones flooding the south US border, or the ones in the biggest mosque in North America in Ft McMurray AB?
There was an attack a few weeks ago on Eglin AFB, which is where Russian first strike aircraft are based.
I don’t know what our response would be wither, and that is part of the problem. We’ve entered this war under the ‘old rules’ - bombed inside of China a few times during Vietnam, gave Stingers to the Afghan fighters, but we have been careful not to poke the bear on her own soil.
Same thing in Canada. There are so many problems here and Ukraine isn’t one of them.
Ukraine can eat dirt. There are so many problems in my backyard that I just don’t care. Not my business. EU can worry about it if they’re so concerned. France can screw itself too. The people are trying to take it back from the commies, but the EU itself is commie, so it’s real hard to pic the good guys.
