8 modest proposals-—
1-—Stop letting criminals out of jail
2-7 -— Prosecute crimes and close the border
8-—End sanctuary cities
One last note-—we have over 10,000 state and local laws, 460 pages of ATF laws and dozens of Federal laws. We need almost all of these illegal laws rescinded.

#5...Only if the school boards are held accountable as well
#6...That should be happening already
#7...Nobody has the stones in Congress to make that happen
#8....We can demand all we want but until we stop re-electing every politician that runs for office it won’t change

That is what the British did in South Africa in the late 1800s. They demanded the natives turn in their firearms, and when the natives got them back they were destroyed beyond use.
A US citizen had his legal licensed mint condition Thompson submachine gun seized. After several years of Lawyer work he got it back, so rusted up it was no longer operable.

Yes, I do, and the 1980s and 1990s gun control fights, and the Clinton years. This is a rerun of 30 years ago. It failed to work then, it will not work now.
Gun control in the 90s got a lot of Democrats voted out of office. 30 years, given how Democrats run elections, I'm not so sure that will happen again.
Most people are at far more risk from an armed career criminal mugging or carjacking them, than from a random spree-killer.
Safety can be improved by long-term imprisonment of career criminals.
LBJ's "Great Society" pays folks not to work, Incentivized fathers to leave home, so Mom could receive better benefits. More kids, more benefits. Food Stamps, medical care, etc.
Proposal: Take all firearms away from anyone registered to vote Democrat, or who has ever voted Democrat. Doing so is a proxy for irresponsibility and criminal tendencies. Crime rates would drop by 98%.
