Why do you say that? If anything, Houston is a deeper shade of blue and those voting habits will never change…bluer than my city which is pretty bad. If you ever want to run for any office here in my town you have better run as a democrat or else you don’t have a prayer. This city has been voting democrat for eons nothing will ever change … nothing! We have come close, but no banana for you.

Yes, while Houston (Harris County) is blue, Brazoria, Fort Bend, and Montgomery counties are not. I’m not sure about San Jacinto or Galveston counties though.

While many immigrants (legal) and illegal aliens flock to Houston, the rest of us are flocking OUT of Houston. I moved out of Houston for Brazoria county back in 2001. I drive in a few days a week now for work, but could (really SHOULD) do it all from home.
