Half of American renters — or 25 million people — now spend more than 30 percent of their pre-tax income on housing amid President Joe Biden’s wage-cutting, rent-spiking welcome for mass migration.
“The national average rent-to-income (RTI) reached 30% for the first time in our 20+ years of tracking history, up 1.5% from year-ago,” said a housing report by the Wall Street firm of Moody’s Analytics.
“Rent … rose faster than incomes” in 75 metro areas, the report said.

We’ve added, according to what I’ve read, at least 5,000,000 new, uninvited people into the United States in just the last two years. They all are going to be living somewhere. We have only so many empty habitable apartments and houses.
Their kids will be enrolled in our schools and I have no doubt that the ‘newcomers’ will be receiving both public and private benefits. No one seems interested in tabulating the cost this invasion is costing us.

In NY State for example, county and local school taxes usually add up to at least 3% of assessed value - every year.
These line jumpers cannot be rewarded for their lawbreaking.

On that note. I wish every service would be fee based. If you want the fire department to respond to your home, pay them. If you want the police to respond to your home, pay them.
You don’t feel the need for either, don’t pay them. If your house goes up in flames or is broke into, you’re on your own.
If you want homeowners insurance, I’m betting that the insurers will mandate you get the services. Your decision.
As for schools, the minute your kid graduates, school taxes decrease every year by 10%. After 10 years, no kids in school, no school taxes.
