One of Florida's two members of the United States Senate, Rick Scott, is running for a second term in 2024.
Scott reportedly made the decision in an announcement first shared with NBC News. Scott released his campaign staff hires and made it clear he’s not planning to run for president, as some have speculated.
“I’m running for the U.S. Senate,” he said.

It was Scott (not Trump) who was in charge of winning the Senate in 2022. He is the one who should take responsibility for that colossal failure.
Daniels should run. 6 years. Easy money. So what if he’s a Bushie? Let the new ones in Ohio and NC carry the conservative mantle. We need the easy ones first. He’ll be 79 when it’s over. Fine by me.
