Well the way things have been going lately, I haven’t been all that proud of being an American myself. Probably because the American people are no longer the ones in control of this country, we’ve undergone an elitist coup when the election was stolen from Trump.

My sense of pride has gravitated more to my adopted home state of Texas. I will always be proud of being an American. Despite the black marks throughout our history, there is no country that has done more to right its wrongs than the US.

I’m also very proud of my 3 grandkids, notably my 16 MO granddaughter, who was born 14 weeks premature. She’s such a fighter, and she’s scheduled to go home in 2-3 months.
