I do not understand this. The Dems control the Senate. They do not need a single vote from Republicans to confirm judges. What am I missing?

These judges - Not SCOTUS - have to be Voted out of Committee before the Full Senate can vote on them.
The Judiciary Committee is currently constituted 50/50 - and it has been for Biden’s time. Every single Judge (of this type) needs Republican help. Every One.
That was Durbin lectured them, and evidently he had it set up beforehand with Graham - and then Graham said, we moving the Judges through. Elections have Consequences (puke).

Dems used procedural rules to run out the clock on Trump nominations when they were in the minority and MITCH THE BITCH let them do it! They demanded cloture votes on every single nomination, which delayed everything for days. Somebody ask lindsay about that!
